Comments, activity and status updates

A comment is a note left on a work item by someone taking part in the project. Activity is the record of every change made to a project or to an item in it, written at the moment it happens, and a project's stream shows that activity live as it arrives. A status update is a dated note about how the project is going, written by a participant.
