The pieces of the hub
The hub looks like one website, but it is built from several pieces: a backend that holds the data and answers every request, a set of sites that show it, a toolkit the sites are built from and the outside services that host them. These pages name each piece and say what it does and where it lives.
Description
You do not need to know any of this to use the hub. It is here for when you want to know what is behind a page, or where a change would be made.
Topics
- Repositories: where the code is kept, one repository per piece.
- The backend: its parts, from boot to the background workers.
- The sites: the hub, the help site, the admin site, the status site and each feature's own site.
- The toolkit packages: the shared packages every site is built from.
- Services and hosting: the environments, and what runs on Railway, Vercel and elsewhere.
